Bursting Colors

Today, I am recycling an old blessing after hearing "Firework" by Katy Perry... "come on let your colors burst.... boom, boom, boom.. even brighter than the moon, moon, moon.. it's always been inside of you.. and now it's time to let it through..."

Hello from my heart to yours...

"Maybe we should develop a Crayola bomb as our next secret weapon. A happiness weapon.  A beauty bomb.  And every time a crisis developed, we would launch one.  It would explode high in the air - explode softly - and send thousands, millions, of little parachutes into the air.  Floating down to earth - boxes of Crayolas.  And we wouldn't go cheap, either - not little boxes of eight.  Boxes of sixty-four, with the sharpener built right in.  With silver and gold and coppermagenta and peach and limeamber and umber and all the rest.  And people would smile and get a little funny look on their faces and cover the world with imagination."                                                                                                                    ~ Robert Fulghum
Author of "All I Really Need to Know I Learned in Kindergarten"

Of course, this may sound ridiculous, but if you remember back to your childhood full of crayons and coloring books, you will probably remember that you did most of your coloring on a rainy day... when you couldn't go outside to play.... a sad day for any child.  Coloring is soothing to one's heart and can brighten up anyone's day.  The next time you feel down or sad, take out a sheet of paper and color... you'll be surprised at how happy the colors will make you feel.... and if you don't believe me, ask any child.

May you always be able to see the crayola explosion and be a happy part of it... may you always go BOOM BOOM BOOM and let your colors burst...

And may you always be aware that you are loved beyond measure and a cherished blessing to me.

May your weekend be filled with everything good...
With love,
Elena
